  3. Mix in the apples and raisins till combined.
  4. Using a spatula transfer the batter to the tin and level the batter out.
  5. Sprinkle over the sugar and transfer the tin to the oven. Bake for 30 minutes or until cooked through. Test by poking a skewer into the batter, if the skewer comes out clean, the cake is Cooked.
  6. Allow to cool completely in the tin before removing it.
