  13. In the same pan, add 1 more tbsp of ghee. Add cumin and let them splutter. Add chopped tomatoes, ginger and chilli. Cook them till tomatoes become mushy.
  14. Transfer this mixture to a grinder jar. Add yoghurt, basil leaves. Grind them to a smooth paste. Pass it through a strainer to get a smooth sauce.
  15. Again take it in the pan. Add sugar and cook for couple of minutes.
  16. Add saved gnocchi water to adjust the consistency of the sauce. - Pour this sauce over gnocchi.
