  4. 2.5 tablespoons - Oyster sauce >>> 1 tablespoon - Soy sauce >>> Half tablespoon - fish sauce >>> 2.5 tablespoons - brown sugar >>> some white pepper
  5. Continue to stir fry the pork with the seasonings. Taste and adjust accordingly, you can add a few tbs of water in if its too dry or too salty
  6. Then add in the basil and stir fry until the basil is well incorporated and turn darker in color then off the heat.
  7. Drizzled in the sesame oil. I serve mine with a bowl of rice and sunny side up 😋😋

This pad kra pao (pork & holy basil-stir-fry) features a key ingredient: holy basil! This is also the kind of basil most commonly used in Thai restaurants here in the States, I believe. The translation of "Pad Kra Pao," is apparently "holy basil stir-fry," so you can't (technically) make the dish without this.. Meat can be in exchange of: - Pork - Chicken - Beef However in this case, I am using Pork. So time to prep the sauce of the meat before preparing your ingredients.
